篇一:初中英语手抄报版面设计图

将英语融入我们的生活

----浅谈我校开展英语手抄报比赛活动的实践与思考 阳西县程村中学英语科组 胡艳影

程村中学是一所规模较大的农村初级中学。有学生3000多人,其中农村生源占绝大多数,学生整体素质参差不齐,学困生面积相当大,特别是英语的基础更是令人担忧,英语口语带有浓厚的地方口音。据调查,发现有相当多的学生由于英语不理想而产生了一种畏忌的心理,久而久之,这些同学对学习英语或英语课就产生了厌恶的情绪。 基于上述情况,为了扭转我校学生学习英语兴趣不高的局面,我校英语教研组多方求索,一直尝试开展“激发学生学习英语兴趣,分层制作英语手抄报”的课题研究,并收到较好的效果。此课题不仅是面向全体,开展自主学习英语、合作式学习英语和探究式学习英语的一种研究,也是将学生自主互助、小组合作、教师指导融为一体,从而大面积地提高英语水平的一种尝试。下面就我校英语报的制作谈谈我们的体会,当是抛砖引玉。

1、制订目标。为了使英语报制作成为我校的一种特色,我校英语科组经过讨论、研究,制订了“面向大多数,抓中间带两头” 的目标,提出了让好、中、差各类学生都从实际出发,按照不同层次的要求,给予不同层次的制作,学校给予不同评奖,努力使各类学生对英语学习人人有兴趣,个个有所得,在各自的“最近发展区域内”得到充分的发展,全面提高学生的英语的成绩。

2、宣传、动员。目标制订后,我们通过学校、任课教师宣传、指导,动员全体学生积极参与,并要求他们从最简单的做起,要克服畏忌英语的情绪,根据自己的英语水平来制作英语手抄报。通过动员,

指导,在上学期,我校七八年级制作了两期手抄报,九年级制作了一期手抄报,举行了一次全校性的手抄报比赛,评出了130多篇优秀作品,在给予奖励的同时还在学校的厨窗公开展出,以此表扬优秀。此尤如一石激起千重浪,很多英语成绩不好的同学看到了自己的作品也能在学校展出时,万分激动,学习英语的热情空前高涨。通过比赛我们为学生搭建了一个展示自我的舞台,达到了让学生检阅自己英语水平,进一步激发对英语的兴趣、重视英语学习的效果。

3、开展互动分层试验。我校英语科组针对学生对英语初中学生的英语水平不是很高,发音不是很标准,带有比较浓厚的地方口音的特点。经过讨论,要求学生在英语报制作时要专门安排一个英语音标学习的版面,同时倡导学生在制作时自己要读懂,提出“编辑水来高于读者”的要求。与此同时我们还并适时地指导学生要运用李阳老师的Crazy English 中的“手势突破发音法”来学习音标。由于教师指导有方,学生制作投入,很多同学对音标都有了重新的认识,“阳江话”英语也得到了较好的解决。很多同学为了制作手抄报,经常围着老师转,争着发问,抢着回答,在争论中学到知识,在制作中学到学习方法,这很好地改变了以往学生只是被动灌输,被动学习的局面,呈现在我们的是人人喜欢学习英语,大家喜欢制作手抄报的良好局面。

4、手抄报的内容具有新颖性和知识性。初中学生由于受所学知识所限,对于手抄报的制作存在很多问题。为此,我校一直以来倡导学生自愿订购学生双语报,让学生们近距离接触专业的英语报刊,同时还利用早读、晚修等时间组织学生进行读报比赛。通过读报,很多同学获得了很多书本上学不到的知识,综合素质有了明显地提高。为了让学生在制作手抄报有一定的方向性,在头一两次制作,我们给学生定了主题,如以 “My dream job”“Food and health” “Travelling”等为主题,这样做的好处就是让学生不会觉得毫无头绪,很好地开展

活动。

5、收到的效果。我校通过“英语手抄报制作”的研究,发现这一活动收到了非常好的效果。

(1)、培养了学生动手、动脑的习惯,培养了他们的创新意识和创造能力,这正是时代的迫切需要。学生在课外阅读中积累的知识很多,要制成手抄报需要巧妙设计,精心安排,这就要求每个学生必须大胆设想,尤其是版面设计,根据内容添加图画,使版面图文并茂、活泼新颖,学生既陶冶了情操,又提高了审美能力和绘画技巧。

(2)、学到了报纸制作的知识。对于英语手抄报,刚开始大部份学生都觉得陌生,不知道该如何制作。后来经过实践,发觉英语手抄报的制作与语文手抄报的制作是异曲同工的,都是把里面的语文文字变成英语,并且手抄报既可以是黑白的,也可以是彩色的,可以是综合性的,也可以专题性的。一些同学也经过手抄报的制作,开始喜欢上了英语,对英语也有了新的认识,也通过英语手抄报的制作,很多同学都很自觉去找资料、去学习英语,现在整间校园都在讨论如何制作英语报,如何学好英语,学习英语氛围十分浓厚,也为培养学生学习英语迈出了可喜的一步,收到了以点带面的极佳效果。

(3)、拉近了师生的距离,师生关系和谐融洽。学生制作手抄报时,会经常向教师请教和讨论,而教师也由于要经常指导学生制作手抄报而和学生坐在一起。师生间的关系不再是教师一味传授,学生只管倾听的传统模式,而是平等交流与互动的新模式。教师更多的是一个顾问和指导者,积极地和学生有机地融为一体,形成了一种师生互动的关系,拉近了师生的距离,师生关系和谐融洽。

以上是我校在进行英语手抄报制作的研究和实践,也是我校为了培养学生学习英语兴趣的一种尝试。这活动的开展不仅丰富了我们的校园生活,为每位同学提供了一个展现自我,表现自我的舞台。同时

这也是我校学生朝气蓬勃,锐意创新、自我挑战的一次展示。这也为我校今后的英语教学打下良好的基础,也是我校以后继续坚持发展的一项活动。
