I’m an eight-year-old girl. I’m not very tall and have straight hair, black eyes. I’m a diligent student. I work hard at my lessons. I like reading, climbing, swimming and playing table tennis.

I often help my mother do housework. I’m good at cooking. My parents always praise me.

My parents give me all the love. I like them very much. I’m really a lucky girl.

My mother

My mother is a beautiful woman. She has two big eyes, a pretty nose and a small mouth.

Sometimes she is humorous, but sometimes she is serious. When she is humorous, she can make me laugh a lot. For example, once I was unhappy, she made herself into a funny actress and acted like an animal. I really can’t help laughing at that time. But when I am naughty or do badly in the exams, she’ll be serious with me, then tell me what to do.

My deskmate

__________ is my deskmate. She is a nice girl. She is 13 years old. She has two big black eyes, a nice nose and a small mouth. Her hair is short and black.

She is good at singing and dancing. She does well in her lessons. She speaks English well. She often helps me with my English. She is also my good friend.

She goes to school on foot, because her home is not far from the school. She goes to school earlier. She is a good student. We study and get help from each other.

第二节、 记事

（1） 成长记事

Housework

This Saturday morning, I didn’t go to school, so I helped my mother do the housework.

First, I swept the floor. Then I swept the rubbish into a plastic bag and carried it downstairs. Then I put the cleaning tools in place. I found two rags. I used one to clean the table, and the other to wipe the windows and the doors. Though I was wet with sweat, I felt very happy.

At the same time, I know it is not easy for mum to do so every day and I will give her more help.

（2） 校园生活

Sweep the Fallen Leaves

Autumn comes and there are a lot of fallen leaves in our school. After school this afternoon, Miss Zhang organized us students to sweep them. Some sweep them, some gathered them and some carried them away. We all did happily. Miss Zhang also wiped sweat for __________ with her handkerchief. With all our efforts, the school soon became clean again. （3） 精彩活动

Picnic

Today is National Day. Our class organized a picnic in the _____ Park. Some students in my group brought some rice, some brought pieces of wood and others brought tasty dishes.

When we got there by bike, some of the boys began to make a stove with bricks. Some girls and I went to the house nearby to clean the rice.

Then we began to cook our meal. As a girl group a leader, I did the cooking. After it was cooked, I brought them the sweet and soft rice. They shouted with great joy.

You know how happy I was at that time.

（4） 社会见闻 第一节 写景 （1） 四季天文

My Favourite Season

There are four seasons in a year. My favourite season is spring. Spring is colourful. The sun is red. The sky is blue. The clouds are snow-white, and trees become green.

In spring, there are flowers everywhere. The birds come back from the south and sing happily all day. Everything comes back to life again.

Look, the mountain becomes green and the water becomes again. The children are flying kites happily.What a beautiful season.

（2） 美丽景观

Red Leaves in Xiangshan

Have you ever been to Xiangshan? It is the most beautiful mountain in Beijing. If you want to , you had better go there in autumn.

When autumn is coming , the leaves in Xiangshan are getting red. From far away, you can see the beautiful red leaves. They are shaving with the blowing wind. They look like a moving rd sea.

The red leaves attract lots of tourists to visit Xiangshan every year. They’re really beautiful.
