创建Host Profile

Step 1: 使用vSphere Client 登录vCenter Server.

Step 2: Home > Host Profiles

主页中选择[Host Profiles]

Step 3: Create Porfile

? 在[Host Profiles]页面，点击右键。 ? 选择[Create Profile]。

Step 4: Select Creation method

? 选择Host Profile 创建方式

o 从ESX 主机中创建，向导以此为例 o 导入已有的profile 文件

? 单击[Next]。

Step 5: Specify Reference Host

? 选择列表中的一个主机，此主机的配置信息将被用来创建Host Profile 。 ? 单击[Next]。

Step 6: Profile Details

? 为创建的Host Profile 命名。

? 输入此Host Profile 的详细描述（可选）。

? 单击[Next]。

Step 7: Ready to Complete the profile

? 确认以上选择是否正确。

? 若无误，单击[Finish]。

Step 8: Host Profile 创建完成

? 在vCenter 目录中可以看到已创建的profile 。

Step 1: 选中要编辑的Host Profile ，右键选择[Edit Profile]

Step 2: 显示Profile 的子选项

在各子选项按需要修改各项参数

Step 1: 选中要编辑的Host Profile ，在图示位置中选择中[Attach Host/Cluster]

Step 2: Attach Host/Cluster

? 在左栏中选择Host 或Cluster ，点击Attach ，则选中的主机或集群会加入到右栏中。 ? 选定所有要关联的主机后，点击[OK]。

? 在Host and Clusters 选项下，显示与选定Profile 相关联的主机或集群。

Step 4: 将关联主机置与维护模式

? 选择主机，右键选择［Enter Maintenance Mode ］，主机进入维护模式。

Profile

? 选中进入维护模式的主机，点击图示中［Apply Profile ］。 ? 主机将应用此Profile 。

Profile

? 在Profile 中设置为Prompt 的子选项需要手式输入信息。 ? 点击[Next]。

Profile

? 确认要应用Profile 后的配置更改情况。

? 点击[Finish]。

Step 8: 检查一致性

? 应用Profile 后将主机由维护模式改为正常模式。

? 点击［Check Compliance ］，在[Host and Clusters]中可以看到应用Profile 的主机状

态变为Compliant 。
