初中英语总复习

数词分为基数词和序数词，基数词表示数目，序数词表示顺序。

一、基数词序数词对照表

二、基数词

1.几十几的基数词的十位数与个位数之间要用连字符“-”连接。如：

eighty-five 85

twenty-six 26

2.三位数的基数词须在百位和十位（若无十位则和个位）之间用and连接。如：

three hundred and sixty-five 365

two hundred and six 206

3.当hundred, thousand, million, billion前有具体数字或several时，必须用单数形式。如：

several hundred year’s ago几百年前

two thousand students两千个学生

4.hundreds of, thousands of, millions of前不能用具体数字,表示“成百, 成千上万，成百万”。

如：Millions of people come to visit the History Museum every day.

3.表示"几十岁"，in one’s + 基数词复数。 Eg: He died of heart disease in his sixties.

4.表示"年代"，in +the + 基数词复数。 Eg: It happened in the 1980s.

5.表示年龄。如：He is seven years old. = He is a seven-year-old boy. = He is a boy of seven.

6.表示编号。如：Room 301，Grade Nine, Class Two.

三、序数词

1. 多位数的基数词变成序数词时，只需将末位基数词变成序数词，前边的基数词不变。如：

forty-two 42 forty-second第42

nine-hundred 900 nine-hundredth第900

2.序数词前一般要用定冠词the，如果序数词前用a或an时，则表示“又一；再一”。如：

Though he had failed twice, he wanted to try a third time.

The little monkey had had three apples, and he wanted to eat a fourth one.

3.表示世纪，in + the + 序数词 + century。如：

Many important inventions were invented in the twentieth century.

4.表示日期, 顺序为月、日、年，年用基数词，日用序数词.

如：1987年4月20日，写成20th April, 1987，读成the twentieth of April, nineteen eighty-seven.

5.表示编号。如：the sixth lesson, in the fifth line

四、分数和百分数表达法

1. 分数

（1）分数的分子用基数词，分母用序数词。如：

one fifth五分之一 one tenth十分之一

（2）当分子大于1时，分母用序数词的复数。如：

two thirds三分之二 five eighths八分之五

（3）当分子是1时，可以用one也可以用a。如：

a second = one second a third = one third

（4）当分母是2和4时，分别可以用half和quarter代替。如：

a half二分之一 three quarters四分之三

（5）带分数的整数和分数之间须用and连接。如：

three and a half 三又二分之一 five and a quarter 五又四分之一 nine and five twelfths 九又十二分之五

（6）表示“某一整体的几分之几”时，使用“分数+of+the+名词”结构。如：

Half of the students are Chinese.一半的学生是中国人。

She ate one third of her food yesterday.她昨天吃掉了食物的三分之一。

2. 百分数

百分数用percent表示。如： forty percent百分之四十 three percent百分之三

3. 当分数、百分数修饰可数名词的复数时，谓语动词用复数形式；当分数、百分数修饰不可数名词时，谓语动词用单数形式。如：

Three fourths of the students in my class are interested in English.

Two thirds of the water on the earth is sea water.

五、倍数表达法

1. 表示“几倍大小（长短；数量）”，由“倍数+ the size（length, amount...）”结构组成。如：

The earth is forth-nine times the size of the moon.

2. 表示“……比……大几倍”，由“倍数+形容词（副词）比较级+ than +被比较部分”结构组成。如：

This box is three times bigger than that one.

3. 表示“……是……倍”，由“倍数+ as +形容词+ as +被比较部分”结构组成。如：

Our factory is twice as big as theirs.

六、算数表达法

1.加用plus, and, add表示, 等于用is, make, equal表示。 Two and four is six. 2＋4=6

2.减用minus表示。 Nine minus three equal(s) six. 9－3=6

3.乘用times表示。 Four times five is/are twenty. 4×5=20

4.除用divided by表示。 Eight divided by four is two. 8÷4=2
