Morning everyone, I am very honor to stand here and give a short speech, today my topic is how to preserve our Chinese traditional culture.

With the development of modern science and technology, some aspects of traditional culture are being lost,no matter how conservative you are, you may find your life is changing gradually with the conveniences that are brought to your daily lives.Whether traditional culture will be replaced by these developments draw our attention. I do believe if we use new technology properly that they will become improvementsto help us preserve our traditional culture.Such as the palace of museum have a website to introduce itself with many maps and pictures which make visitors feel like he was there. Some other history spots also put a video with Englishsubtitles on the internet to improveitsprofile.Both of these can raise people’s interesting of traditional culture.

Meanwhile, we need to redefinethe traditional culture and keep itup with times, just like the recent dragon-boat festival. We treat Dragon-boat racing not only a competition but also a way to exercise. And people use mugwort’s juice wash their bodies in order to keepthe bad luck, speciously the illness, away, it really havescientific validity. It is also a chance for many families to get together.

We have many traditional festivals, they are thecrystallizationof ancient wisdom. We are suppose to preserve it before we learn from it. So, let’s preserve our Chinese culture immediately from knowing the real meaning of traditional festivals.
