Mawei District Zhaozhong Temple:This is a small memorial temple for those who fell in the battle of Fuzhou. in August 23, 1884. In it you can konw about the opening battle of a Sino-French War, mainly over Chinese objections to France's expansion in what is now Vietnam.At least 2000 Chinese lives were lost, and 10 French. Mawei Shipbuilding Museum:contain an excellent memory of the shipyard's history dating from the late 19th century. Luoxing Pagoda:was once regarded as the symbol of China by the seamen.Today, the government of Mawei Districtt built a beautiful park around it. Visitors can climb a small hill to reach the bottom of Luoxingta.

This is a special kind of wrap made from pounding pork. A small store in Sanfang-qixiang is among the few workshops in Fuzhou that still make Yanpi the traditional way, therefore extremely famous. This ancient flavor really makes my mouth water.I t think it's really worthwhile to have a taste.
