How to Make a Good Composition

In English language skills the writing is considered one of the important issues. It is a short-term goal to learn English - one of the required examination; and a long-term goal of learning English - the ability to communication. Needless to say, English writing is a basic knowledge, basic skills. Thus, it is very difficult to write an excellent essay in English if there is no solid knowledge of English grammar; no long-term unremitting training; no scientific way to guide; no extensive knowledge and information beyond the textbook,

You know, English Writing is essential for the training of a person's way of thinking in English. If there is no any external pressure , the learner can fully consider the sentence structure; repeatedly refine to express the content. After a long-term training, you can achieve the purpose of quantitative change to qualitative change.

Most students in China, the composition of the training is naturally not very full, resulting in the essay exam scores is very low. Most of the English language training institutions in the community ignore in English composition which is the importance of learning English, they place more emphasis on English proficiency such as speaking and listening and so on. Through my own experience the following objectives and requirements in English writing is very important:

1. The the introduction of the first paragraph: the best first paragraph may be attractive.To do this,students require to read a lot of extra-curricular books, including Chinese and English, so that you have a broad range of knowledge, ideas and flexible, superb writing skills.

2. The phrases and sentences: in English composition, the use of phrases and sentences to help show the English writers' capability. This requires to basic knowledge in a systematic study. To illustrate: prefer doing> enjoy doing> like doing this we can see, different types and different levels of phrases and sentences can demonstrate different perspectives.

3. Complex sentences: writing in English, the use of complex sentences is

essential. Primary English essay can have no complex sentences, from the junior high school, you must use complex sentences (at least 1 - 2). Because only the complex sentences can express the more complex ideas.

4. Chinese-English translation: we should translate a greater emphasis on the importance of training. Both English-Chinese, English or Chinese to English is necessary to learn the basic ability, or that are top-level capabilities. So, in English composition, the use of techniques from Chinese to English, no doubt will help writers to more fully express their views. And most of the translation of training materials and teaching English classes are very lacking.

5. Writing layout: As everyone knows, writing layout is our second faces. Essay writing and publishing can impact on people's mood and will inevitably affect the composition of the final results.

6. We should use the simple words to express the complex ideas. A lot of students want to use complex words and sentences to make their composition get high scores, but you should know you could use the complex words and sentences correctly. Some students just know the meaning of the words, they do not know how to use them.

7. We should read a lot of English books. There are lots of beautiful words and sentences in books, so we should find them out and learn how to use them correctly. In my opinion we should spend at least one hour reading English paragraphs. And after one month you will gain more.

8. You should write your words carefully and make them seen clearly. Some students do not pay attention to their words and they think only if their compositions are beautiful can they get high scores. So in your spare time you should spend enough time training your words ans that is quite necessary.

9. Practice makes perfect. You should spend a lot of time practicing your hand-writing. I have a good idea that you can keep diaries everyday. I have done that for a long time and I think that makes my hand-writing better. When you find some good sentences you should write them down and when you are free you can take them out and read them loudly.

I still believe that different people have different ideas. So you should find the ways to making good composition, and then you should make a good plan which fits for you, finally you should try your best to do following the plans.

No pais, no gains. The process may be very difficult but when you try your best to make it you will know how happy you are. I do not believe God puts us in the world to be ordinary, so believe in yourselves and you can do it.
