教学设计

闽教版小学英语五年级下册

Unit 5 Sports Day Part B

教学思路:运用“WS创新模式”,在课堂上结合李老师的微课“be doing”进行语法教学,轻松突破重难点,让学生高效掌握语法知识。

教学目标:

语言知识目标

1.学习词汇:proud,fall down等。

2.学习句型:Peter is running 100 meters.

Yang Ming is doing high jump.

Julia is doing long jump.

Sally is taking photos.

3.功能:讨论体育赛事。

语言技能目标

1.能准确使用英语讲述正在发生的事情。

2.能用所学语言描述运动会这一话题。

3.能根据不同的情景讲述或写出简短的句子。

情感态度

培养学生互助合作,共同为班级争光的意识。

教学重难点:

语法现在进行时be doing的理解与运用。

教具准备:

1.单词卡片:

(1)新词proud,well,busy等。

(2)词组fall down,run 100 meters,do high jump,do long jump,take photos等。

2.课文相关人物的自制头像图片。

3.教学光盘。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

1. Greetings

2. Sing a song:High Jump and Long Jump

【设计意图】歌曲导入课题,自然引出课题。同时激发学生学习兴趣,快速活跃气氛,让学生迅速进入英语课堂学习的状态。

Step 2 Review

1.由歌曲引出sports,并复习运动名称:high jump,play football, swimming,play basketball,long jump,running。

2.Free Talk:

T: Boys and girls. I like swimming. What do you like?

Do you often do exercise? What’s your favorite sport?

What sport do you often do ? Do you run every day?

【设计意图】复习旧知,为新知的导入做铺垫。自由对话,激发学生已有的知识储备,同时让学生积极开口说英语,提高学生的口语表达能力。

Step 3 Presentation

1.由Free Talk 引出Sports Day,并揭示课题Unit 5 Sports Day Part B带读课题。

2.复习What will… do on Sports Day?

(1)教师出示Peter,Yang Ming , Julia ,Sally 等头像贴黑板,并提出问题:What will they do on Sports Day?

(2)师拿出卡片will, 贴黑板。

(3)师指黑板的头像,提出问题:

What will Peter do?

What will Yang Ming do ?

What will Julia do?

What will Sally do ?

(4)生回答:Peter will run 100 meters.

3.自读课文,划出答案:Who? Where? When? What?

4.看视频,回答问题:

What are they doing?

What is Peter doing?

What is Yang Ming doing ?

What is Julia doing?

What is Sally doing ?

生回答, 师贴词组:running 100 meters, doing high jump, doing long jump, taking photos

5.教师出示Lily 头像贴黑板,并提出问题:What is Lily doing?

生回答, 师贴单词shouting。

6.由答案引出be doing。

(1)教师拿出卡片be doing ,贴黑板。

(2)归纳be 动词,板书am, is, are。

(3) 观看微课“现在进行时的用法”。

【设计意图】通过观看李老师讲解的“be doing”的微课,让语法教学充满创意,充分调动学生学习的积极性,用双师教学的新型模式实现资源共享,让孩子们进一步了解巩固现在进行时的用法。

7.Chant。

8.让学生用“be doing”来看图说运动会上做的事,并进行情感教育:各施所长,为班争光。

9.Game: Say and do!

游戏规则:老师或者同学在台上做动作,其余的学生根据PPT呈现的图片说句子:He/She is doing…He/She will …台上的学生根据指令做动作。

10. 教师提出3个问题:

Is Peter good at running?

Is Yang Ming good at long jump?

Is Julia good at high jump?

学生观看视频.并找出答案。

11. 教授Peter is running fast.

(1)教师引导学生说句子Peter is running very fast .

(2)跟读句子Peter is running very fast .

12.教授单词proud 和句子Miss Gao is very proud of Peter.

(1)师伸开大拇指做自豪动作,引导学生边做动作边说proud

(2)带读句子Miss Gao is very proud of Peter.

13.教授词组fall down 和句子He is falling down.

(1)教授fall down

PPT出示摔倒的图片,让学生理解fall down的意思,并带读。(2)教授He is falling down.

①PPT 出示男孩与女生摔倒的动图,操练句子:He/She is falling down .

②利用实物和图片拓展句型:The apple is falling down .

14.教授句子:She is trying to do well.

(1)由问题Is Julia good at long jump ?引出She is trying to do well. (2)情感教育:We should try our best to do everything.

15. 听音跟读。

【设计意图】用游戏对语法“will do”和“be doing”进行区分,让语法教学也显得趣味十足。同时教师注重新知的拓展运用,每个新知学习后都让学生在具体的情境中感知运用所学。

Step 4 Extension.

1.根据板书复述课文。

2.疯狂大猜想:What will the animals do on Sports Day?

3.四人一组,小组讨论:

It's Sports Day.

The monkey is dancing.

The cat is... .The ducks are... . The...

4.Learn to write

PPT出示动物运动会情景,教师示范短文,然后学生自己写。

5.请学生上台展示。

【设计意图】通过创设森林运动会的情境,从说到写让学生在真实情境运用两种不同的语法,提高学生的综合语言运用能力。

Step 5 Summary

1. I can say the names of these activities :

run 100 meters ,do high jump ,do long jump ,shout

2. I can ask and this question :

A: What is Peter doing ?

B: Peter is running 100 meters.

3. I can sing High Jump and Long Jump.

4. I can write : Sports Day

Step 6 Homework

1. Listen and repeat the text.

2. Finish the activity book Unit 5 Sport Day Part B.

3. Draw a picture about your weekend and tell us what are you doing.
