Boys play with soldiers and guns while girls play with dolls and prams and this early training also helps to reinforce male/female characteristics. ANSWERAlthough women represent 59% of the population they certainly don’t represent 50% of government and business. There are many reasons for this such as sexism and a view that women will leave their jobs to have a baby and not return. Although female numbers are rising in high level jobs, sexist views still prevail.
