Life in an American high school is an interesting and exciting learning experience. High school in America is not just a place for studying some subjects. It is also an important social centre, where students can develop other interests and talents.

The high school course is divided into four years. School usually starts at about 8:00 a.m. , and ends at about 3 p.m. there’s no class on Saturday.

Today, I want to talk to you about the historic opportunity that we now have to protect our nation’s children from an even more deadly threat: smoking. Smoking kills more people every day than AIDS, alcohol, car accidents, murders, suicides, drugs and fires combined.
